Savannah Saturday

They greated me at the airport. It was exciting. I mostly wanted to go to sleep.

I am excited to announce that Wanderlust Nation will be introducing it’s first co-blogging adventure. Even if it IS with my Dad! (We are making this a family adventure)

When I started writing this blog I wanted to do two things. First I wanted to share with my friends, family and the universe something I am deeply passionate about; secondly I wanted to be inspired. (It’s corny, but true.)

My dad is one of the most passionate people I know, he helped introduce me to food and travel. He taught me to hunt, fish, and read a recipe. My dad works tirelessly to pursue his dreams.

To celebrate and share one of his coolest bucket list adventures we will be co-writing a series on his recent trip to South Africa. We will be working to share one amazing new story, trip or trick from his adventure each Saturday.

A hotel room feast for the New Year!

So, get excited and share the love with MY PAPA and his lovely wife Connie, who will be guest editing this series. Stay tuned for tales of childhood dreams, encounters with terrifying animals, and the adventure of a lifetime.

— Come back next Saturday for a one day mini series on Crocodile Tears and Other Fears —

How do you include family and friends in your passions? Do you have any great stories from Africa? Is there anything you wish you could ask someone who has been to Safari?
